In its efforts to stimulate the economy and revive the housing market, Congress has enacted legislation providing a tax credit of up to $8,000 for first-time home buyers.

This opportunity is available now!   Simply purchase your new or existing home, carry the completed closing statement to your Accoutant, fill out the necessary forms to ammend this years federal tax filing, and wait a couple of weeks for your check from Uncle Sam.  As with all programs, restrictions do apply.  Only homes purchased on or after January 1, 2009 and before December 1, 2009 are eligible.
